What is value tales?

Value Tales is a series of children's books that were published between 1976 and 1991. The books were created by Dr. Spencer Johnson and depicted famous historical figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Helen Keller, and Mozart, as well as fictional characters with strong values, such as honesty, perseverance, and kindness.

Each book in the series features a different character and focuses on a specific character trait. The stories are told through the personification of an animal, such as a pig or mouse, who acts as a mentor to the human character. The books aim to teach children important values and virtues through storytelling.

The Value Tales books were popular in the 1980s and were used in schools to teach character education. They have since been reissued and are still available for purchase today.
